Prerequisites

• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts.
• Familiarity with AWS and Linux command line.
• Basic knowledge of IDE usage and scripting.

Course Outline

The outline has been divided into Beginners and Intermediate sections. As such, those with basic expertise can join in on the latter part of the training. It is however recommended that participants join in from the beginning. This training will cover deployment technologies and as such, it will delve on to Linux OS on the Cloud as recommended by Hashicorp.

As such, if the participants do noy have adequate expertise on AWS and Linux cloud VMs, it is strongly recommended to start from the very beginning.

   2. Understanding Terraform workspaces.
   3. Basic debugging in Terraform.
5. Advanced Terraform Features:
   1. Creating and managing AWS resources (RDS, Lambda).
   2. Terraform modules and reusable components.
   3. Managing dependencies in Terraform.
   4. Terraform backends for state management.
   5. Taking over resources with terraform
