Course Outline for HR / People Analytics

The objective of this 3 day course is to enable the learner to be able to use modern and effective tools to make data-driven decisions about their employee or the workforce. It is designed to equip the trainee with skills to use statistics and “peoples data” to enable making better business decisions and management for the company.

The tools used for achieving this are Python and R with Machine Learning and Visualization techniques.

Pre-requisites:

• Ability to use the internet.
• Experience with either Windows, MacOS or Ubuntu (either one).
• Any programming experience will help, but not required.
• Fluency in English.

Expected Outcome:

• Ability to use python for data analysis
• Ability to use R in R-Studio for data analysis
• Ability to use both python and R for visualization
• Basic understanding of Machine Learning and prediction
