Basics of Talend

This course is designed to train the learner on using talend from the ground up for ETL and data source handling and using the interface efficiently. How to import data into Talend and then perform various transformations of data, cleansing, filtering, lookups, concatenations and other commonly used data handling techniques pertaining to Data Warehouses.

Prerequisites

Software

• Full admin / root access to training PC
• Talend Open Studio
• Access to external URL
• JDK 8 or above (JRE won't suffice)
• Full access path setup prior to training

Hardware

• 32GB / 16GB / 8GB RAM or above for Windows / MacOS / Linux
• SSL installed
• Access to terminal without tunnelling
• Dual Screen
• Webcam and Microphone
