Aspentech Hysys Process Simulation
This course is designed for engineers who wish to use Aspentech Hysys to build, navigate and optimize process simulations as well as apply advanced modeling techniques to enhance existing flowsheets. This course also covers the efficient use of different HYSYS functions to build steady-state process simulations.
Learning Outcome
By the end of this course, the learner shall have adequate knowledge on the following:
- Build, navigate and optimize process simulations using Aspen Hysys
- Understand the efficient use of different Hysys functions to build steady state process simulations
- Model basic unit operations and chemical processes
- Understand the concept of Flowsheet and Manipulate it
- Set up the required/basic inputs for a Simulation
- Choose a Fluid Package for Physical Properties Modeling
- Get reporting results
- Comprehend practical techniques for building and troubleshooting solids models
- Design and rate a shell and tube heat exchanger using the EDR interface inside Aspen Plus
- Gain the practical skills and knowledge to begin modeling new and existing solids processes
