SharePoint Modern Sites Development and Transition

Modern information architecture, SPFx extensions and accessible design

Introduction

Why this course

This three-day course helps SharePoint practitioners move from classic-site assumptions to modern sites and supported customisation patterns. Participants compare capabilities, configure a sample site and develop a bounded client-side solution.

The focus is SharePoint in Microsoft 365, with classic and retired features reviewed as transition considerations. Modern pages, permissions, accessible design, SharePoint Framework and Power Platform integration are introduced without promising a complete enterprise migration.
