This course is designed for participants who have experience building custom business applications with Microsoft Power Apps and want to take their skills to the next level. The course covers advanced topics such as using advanced formulas and expressions, customizing controls and views, and integrating with external data sources. Participants will also learn how to implement best practices for building scalable, maintainable solutions.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Use advanced formulas and expressions to enhance the functionality of Power Apps.
  • Customize controls and views to create more tailored and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Implement data validation and conditional logic to improve data integrity.
  • Integrate Power Apps with external data sources and other systems.
  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable Power Apps solutions.
  • Identify best practices for testing, debugging, and troubleshooting Power Apps solutions.

Prerequisites:

To take the Microsoft Power Apps for Advanced Users course, participants should have experience building custom business applications with Microsoft Power Apps. Specifically, participants should have a solid understanding of the following concepts and skills:

  • Data modeling and entity relationships
  • Form and screen design
  • Basic formulas and expressions
  • Data validation and conditional logic
  • Power Apps connectors and data sources

Additionally, participants should have some experience with programming concepts such as logic, expressions, and functions. It is recommended that participants have completed the Microsoft Power Apps Fundamentals course or have equivalent experience before taking this course.

Assessment:

The course will be assessed through a combination of quizzes, assignments, and a final project. The quizzes and assignments will assess participants' understanding of key concepts and their ability to apply them to practical scenarios. The final project will require participants to design and build a custom Power App solution that incorporates advanced features and integrates with external data sources.
