Why this course
Explore selected Google tools for collaboration, simple automation, reporting and business visibility. Compare hosted and in-house approaches, practise core workflows and discuss when each tool fits a business need. The tools are separate products with different account, permission and service requirements; they are not all included in every Google Workspace plan.

- Recognise introductory Apps Script automation and Colab notebook use cases.

Prerequisites
Prerequisites
A computer with reliable internet and a Google account. Prepared sample properties/data and appropriate permissions are used for business, analytics or automation demonstrations. Features may require a suitable service/account plan.

- Reasons to consider Google tools and trade-offs compared with in-house systems.
- Application fatigue and workflow integration.
- Professional email integration and account/domain requirements.
02Part B — Collaboration and introductory automation5 topics
- Drive, Forms, Drawings, My Maps and Sites workflows.
- Google Meet for collaboration.
- Apps Script introduction using a prepared JavaScript example; not a full programming course.
- Google Colab introduction using a prepared notebook.
- Choose currently supported collaboration workflows instead of the retired Jamboard app.
03Part C — Analytics and business visibility5 topics
- Google Analytics4: introduction and selected reports using sample data.
- Data Studio dashboards and data sources, with appropriate sharing permissions.
- Google Business Profile, formerly Google My Business: business-presence overview.
- Think with Google, Google Trends and Keyword Planner as research/marketing examples.
- Connect selected tool workflows and review suitability for a business scenario.
